What is a spiral elevator?
Screw elevator is an elevator in which the plunger of a straight-top elevator is processed into a rectangular thread, and then a big nut with a thrust bearing is installed on the top of the oil cylinder, and then the motor drives the nut to rotate through a reducer (or belt) to make the screw lift the car up or down.

Simply put, there is a huge screw under the elevator, and the car rises and falls with the rotation of the screw. The safety is high, because in fact, something has been resisting below, that is, losing power and falling freely, and the screw will also drive the motor to do more negative work, which will be very slow, so you will definitely not fall down when you take this elevator. Just lock the screw to prevent the free fall from falling.

Because there is no need to hang a balance weight, it is small in size. If the motor can be installed underground, the load-bearing requirements for small buildings are low (just lay the foundation well). The disadvantage is that the bearing capacity is small and it cannot be used on higher floors. It is not only slow to use on higher floors, but also the screws are too long to hold.
