Chuzhou College, formerly known as Chuzhou Normal School, was founded in 1950. 1977, the teaching point of Chuxian County, Anhui Normal University (Chuzhou Branch) was established; 1980 changed its name to Chuzhou Normal University; Approved by the Ministry of Education in May 2004, it was upgraded and named Chuzhou College. In 20 19, the school was formally incorporated into the construction unit of Anhui provincial master's degree program.
As of March 20 16, the school has established provincial key disciplines; Relying on "Anhui Thermal Sensitive Materials Processing Engineering Technology Research Center", it was approved to establish "Anhui Postdoctoral Research Center".
The school oil painting "Fighting SARS" was selected as one of the national "major historical artistic creation projects", and "Sunshine on the Ruins" won the bronze prize in the 2008 Olympic Fine Arts Conference.
The research and popularization of plant protein extrusion texturing technology won the second prize of China Agricultural Science and Technology Award, the second prize of Anhui Science and Technology for the research on the evolution of animal mitochondrial genome and related groups, the third prize of Anhui Science and Technology Progress for the research and development of WDX60 super-large surface area adsorption resin, and the third prize of Guizhou Science and Technology Progress for the identification of sex pheromones of cutworms.
