Location of automatic fire extinguishing system

8.5. 1

The following places shall be equipped with automatic fire extinguishing system, which shall be adopted unless it is not suitable for water protection or fire extinguishing, and otherwise specified in this specification.

Automatic sprinkler system:

8.5.2

The following parts shall be equipped with water curtain system:

8.5.4

The following places should be equipped with automatic fire extinguishing system and water spray fire extinguishing system:

1 Oil-immersed power transformers in factories and mines with a capacity of 40MVA or above, oil-immersed power transformers in oil-immersed power plants with a capacity of 90MVA or above, or oil-immersed power transformers in independent substations with a capacity of 125MVA or above;

2. Aircraft engine test-bed test site.

8.5.5

The following places should be equipped with automatic fire extinguishing system, and gas fire extinguishing system should be adopted:

1 population 1 10,000 or more microwave rooms, decimeter rooms and meter machines of national, provincial or city radio and television transmission towers.

Computer room, power distribution room and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) room;

2. Long-distance SPC exchange room, control room and rooms with more than 10,000 routes in international telecommunication bureaus, regional centers, provincial centers and regional centers.

8.5.6

The locations of foam fire extinguishing systems such as Class A, Class B and Class C liquid storage tanks shall conform to the current national standard Code for Design of Petroleum Depots.

GB50074, Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises GB50 160, Code for Fire Protection Design of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering GB50 183 and other relevant regulations.

8.5.7 In crowded places such as exhibition halls and gymnasium audience halls with a building area of more than 3000m2, and Class C workshops with a building area of more than 5000m2 that cannot use automatic sprinkler systems, fixed fire monitors and other fire extinguishing systems should be set up.

8.5.8 For catering establishments with a business area of more than 500m2 in public buildings, automatic fire extinguishing devices should be installed in the cooking hood and cooking parts in the cooking operation room, and automatic emergency cut-off devices should be installed on gas or oil pipelines.
