Fuan Jufeng grape is a specialty of Fuan City, Ningde City, Fujian Province. Fuan has become an important grape producing area in southern China. At present, the planting area of Kyoho grape is 50,000 mu, and the output is 56,000 tons, accounting for 60% of Fujian Province. It is the county-level grape production base with the largest area, contiguous scale and standardized production on the west coast and southeast coast of Taiwan Strait. "Fuan Jufeng Grape" won the title of national geographical indication of agricultural products.

Kyoho grape belongs to a medium-ripe variety and is tetraploid. The ear is big, the grain is big, and the single grain weight is about 10g. It ripens in late August. It is purple-black, sweet in taste, rich in fruit powder and fragrant with strawberries. Skin, meat and seeds are easy to separate, and the sugar content is 16%. Strong adaptability, good disease resistance and cold resistance, like rich water. The average ear weight is 400-600g, and the average fruit weight is about 12g, which can reach 20g at most. The skin is thick and purple, with fruit powder, soft pulp, sweet and juicy taste and strawberry fragrance.

In 1980s, Fuan successfully introduced Kyoho grape, which broke the myth that southern China was not suitable for growing grapes. At present, the city's grape area is 50,000 mu, the output of table grapes is 56,000 tons, and the output value is nearly 500 million yuan, benefiting 130 administrative villages, 20,000 households and 654,380+050 people. Fuan has unique geographical conditions and belongs to subtropical maritime climate.
