Should catering people believe in Buddhism?

Yesterday, a disciple asked me if diners should believe in Buddhism! My guidance to him is: from the point of view of killing, catering people should not believe in Buddhism, because Buddhism requires practitioners not to kill, and catering people who eat meat are killing every day; From the point of view of Buddhism, catering people can believe in Buddhism, because Buddhism aims at the afterlife and wants you to do good at the moment, so if you are catering with a "conscience" that is good for consumers, of course, you are a Buddhist person.

I told him that Buddhism is just one of people's ways of practicing knowledge leading to "justice". As a catering person, as long as they have a "conscience-oriented" mentality, it is the best professional accomplishment. After all, we can't ask all people to be vegetarian, because our consumers can't all be vegetarian, which is also against the "justice" of the earth's cosmic ecology. If there are surplus animals all over the ground, our earth will really be. Similarly, if plants eat too much and eat too much, the ecology will be destroyed and the "balance" will be affected. Therefore, we must face every "food or ingredient" seriously, and we must not violate the law, let alone violate the "justice"; It doesn't matter whether we believe in Buddhism or not as long as we follow the principles of "keeping the earth green and healthy", "maximizing the utility of ingredients" and "keeping consumers healthy and prolonging life", because we believe in "conscience" and act according to the principle of "conscience".
