Where is the hometown of filial piety in China?
Shangyu, Zhejiang is a place famous for its traditional filial piety. Among the 24 filial piety in ancient China, there are two in Shangyu, namely Cao E and Yu Shun, the typical representatives of filial piety for men and women. In such a place with strong filial piety culture, it is a tradition and a fashion to set up a non-governmental public welfare fund funded by enterprises to feed back the society and repay mulberry. According to incomplete statistics, since Shunjie Scholarship was established by Shunjie Construction Group in 1992, there have been more than 50 public welfare funds in Shangyu, with a total fund amount exceeding 500 million yuan. Last year, at a donation ceremony of the "Hundred Enterprises Connecting the People" charity relief fund, 24 enterprises donated 425 million yuan for half a day and set up 24 charity name funds, of which the largest enterprise donated 30 million yuan.
