I. China 2010 Shanghai World Expo (EXPO 2010)
China 2010 Shanghai World Expo (EXPO 2010), is the 41st World Expo. It was held between May 1 and October 31, 2010 in Shanghai, China. The Expo is also the first World Expo organized by China, with the theme: Better City, Better Life.
The venue of Shanghai World Expo 2010, China, is located in the area of Nanpu Bridge and Lupu Bridge, and laid out along both sides of the Huangpu River in the urban area of Shanghai. The planned land area of the Expo site is 5.28 square kilometers, including 3.93 square kilometers for the Pudong part and 1.35 square kilometers for the Puxi part. The fenced area covers about 3.22 square kilometers.
II. Launch of Chang'e 2 Satellite
Chang'e 2 Satellite, China's second lunar probe satellite, the second man-made asteroid in the solar system, and the technology pioneer star of the second phase of China's lunar probe project, was developed by the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), and is the backup star of Chang'e 1 Satellite, China's first satellite to probe the moon, which follows the platform of the Dongfanghong 3 Satellite at the cost of about 600 million yuan RMB.

Four, Yushu earthquake
April 14, 2010, Yushu City, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, six earthquakes occurred in Yushu City, the highest magnitude 7.1, which occurred at 7:49 pm, the epicenter of the earthquake is located near the city. In order to express the people of all ethnic groups in the country's deep condolences to the compatriots killed in the earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai Province, the State Council decided on April 20, 2010, April 21, 2010 to hold a national mourning activities, the whole country and the embassies and consulates abroad at half-mast to pay homage to the mourning, to stop the public **** recreational activities.
As of 18:00 on May 30, 2010, approved by the Qinghai Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, Department of Public Security and the Yushu Prefecture Government in accordance with the relevant procedural provisions, the Yushu Earthquake has resulted in 2,698 people killed, of which 2,687 have been confirmed identity, 11 unnamed corpses, and 270 people are missing. Confirmed victims: 1,290 males and 1,397 females; 2,537 people of Yushu nationality in Qinghai, 54 people of non-Yushu nationality in the province, and 96 people of foreign nationality (including 1 person of Hong Kong origin); and 199 students were killed.
To this end, Guo Yongjie, a young painter from Shaanxi Province, created two 100-meter masterpieces to commemorate the Yushu Earthquake: "Yushu will not fall, Qinghai will be evergreen" and "Yushu's tomorrow will be better", which were exhibited at the Qinghai Provincial Museum and Shaanxi Provincial Museum of Fine Arts on April 14th, 2011 and April 14th, 2013, respectively.
V. Zhouqu mega mudslide
At about 22:00 on August 7, 2010, the northeast mountainous area of Zhouqu County in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture was hit by a sudden extraordinarily heavy rainfall, which amounted to 97 millimeters and lasted for more than 40 minutes, triggering a mega flash flood and geological disaster in the four gully systems of Sanyanyanyu and Luogiayu,
The mudslide was about 5 kilometers in length, with an average width of 300 meters and an average thickness of 5 meters, a total volume of 7.5 million cubic meters, flow through the area was flattened. As of September 7, 2010, 1,557 people were killed in the Zhouqu 8-7 mega mudslide disaster, 284 people are missing, and a cumulative total of 2,315 people have been treated on an outpatient basis.
