China Minxi Trading City started from the establishment of Longyan Central City Market Preparation Office in June 1999+00, and it took less than two years from project establishment, planning and design, fund raising, land acquisition and demolition to development and construction, and completion and delivery. The planned land area is 993.2 mu, and the planned total investment is 654.38+0 billion yuan. The first phase of development is 505.7 mu, with an investment of 600 million yuan and a construction area of 460,000 square meters. On September 28th, 2006, 2976 independent storefronts, 80,000-square-meter comprehensive shopping malls, 232 sets of supporting houses and 20,000-square-meter factor market and service center building were completed and opened for business. There are: (1) clothing, cloth and knitted textiles trading areas in the trading city; (2) shoes and hats, luggage trading area; (three) grain, oil, grain, sugar, tobacco and wine trading area; (4) hardware, electromechanical, chemical and daily necessities trading area; (5) Electronic and electrical trading area; (6) department stores and stationery trading areas; (7) fruit trading area; (8) Building decoration materials trading area; (9) Furniture trading area; (10) Factor markets such as talents, labor, capital, information and technology. The trading city forms a two-way distribution relationship with the county market and professional market in the city, radiating the surrounding areas of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi and even the whole country. In 2004, the transaction volume reached 3.9 billion yuan. It was listed as a national and provincial key market by the State Economic and Trade Commission and the Provincial Economic and Trade Commission. In 2003 and 2004, it was rated as one of the top 100 national commodity markets by the China Market Steering Committee. In 2002 and 2003, it became one of the top 100 taxpayers in Fujian Province.
