Taixi coal is of high quality after mining, filtering and fine washing. It is not only the same size and shape, but also black and bright, non-stick and smokeless. Taixi coal is a good fuel for metallurgical industry. If Taixi coal is ground to 200 meshes and injected into the blast furnace, each ton of Taixi coal can replace 1 ~ 1.28 tons of coke. Taixi coal is ideal for civil use, and it is the first-class fuel in fireplaces of ancient high-grade residential buildings abroad. Carpet is another ancient national craft in Ningxia. The carpet production in Ningxia began to develop from the Ming Dynasty. There are many kinds of carpets in Ningxia, including antique carpets and artistic carpets. Antique carpets are hand-made, and the raw materials are high-quality virgin wool. Ceramics is a famous product in Ningxia, with a history of nearly a thousand years. Up to now, the museum of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region still preserves several rare porcelains of Xixia period, such as Yuchun pot, Gao Zuwan and ear jar. Their glaze color is white, the wall is thin, the shape is unique, and they have obvious national characteristics. The large-scale production of modern ceramics in Ningxia was after liberation, and Shizuishan porcelain was the most famous.
