Based on the results of the automatic revision of the seasonal adjustment model, the chain-on-chain growth rates of GDP, value added of industry above designated size, investment in fixed assets (excluding farm households), and total retail sales of consumer goods for the recent one-year periods are revised. The revised results, as well as the four-quarter 2013 GDP chained data and the December 2013 chained data of other indicators, are as follows:

(5) The median per capita income of urban and rural residents refers to the per capita income of the surveyed households that are in the middle of the list of all surveyed households in descending order of per capita income level. Urban and rural residents' income quintile grouping refers to all survey households in order of per capita income level from low to high, evenly divided into five equal parts, in the highest 20% of the income group for the high-income group, and so on in turn for the upper-middle-income, middle-income, lower-middle-income, low-income group.

(6) Rural migrant workers refer to workers whose household registration is still in the countryside, who go to the city to work and engage in non-agricultural labor for more than six months locally or in other places. Local migrant workers are those who work in the territory of the township where their household registration is located.
