According to historical records, Shanzu was the chef of Duan Wenchang, the prime minister of the Tang Dynasty. Duan once wrote "The Classic of Food" for 50 times, and presided over the female chef of "Duan Fu Hou Chu". Her cooking is superb, and winning Duan * * * is even more extraordinary. She has a unique skill in repairing raw materials, blending tastes and cooking. The famous dishes she cooked were later recorded in Youyang Miscellanies edited by Duan Wenchang's son Duan.
