1. Work with people who love their careers, not people who love money.
Why love? Career? Not love? Company? Because we are a group of people who have the same career pursuit? Strive to improve the quality of the catering industry. As a result, we opened a restaurant. Everything we do is to support our cause. The reason is that we want to be a benchmark enterprise in this industry and can create one? Home? The same network, no matter where you go, will be welcomed by us and know us and our professional knowledge. The reason why we participate in social media is to provide content to verify our expertise.
But in the end, I will also reflect. In fact, our real passion for attracting customers is to really inject our hearts and souls into the restaurant. You need to be clear about your occupation, and then attract people with similar interests to join you. Don't neglect what you really want to achieve.
2. Promote team action in a neat and consistent way.
Although we believe that we are all achieving the same goal, it doesn't mean that we don't intend to accomplish these same goals from different directions. Because of this, our team needs to be consistent and start from a single direction. Five people working together and working together in the same direction will succeed more easily and frequently than going it alone.
Of course, to do this, our team needs to constantly adjust its direction.
Team up in parallel, aim at the direction, that is, we do things. Consistency means internal consistency and customer's unified process. We need to have a complete and clear understanding of what we have done, so that we can work separately and finish it together. Whether written or oral, as long as it is correct, we need to adopt and follow it.
3. Reduce unnecessary red tape.
At first, I thought like this: we need to do everything according to the model of big companies. Then I realized the following:
We are not a big company;
Neither my team nor I can create and maintain many complicated processes;
There are many huge processes that are actually very inefficient.
If you are a small startup or a small and micro enterprise, ask yourself, are there any unnecessary red tape? If so, minimize it.
4. Make sure the team gives you frank feedback and makes constructive suggestions.
When it comes to expressing opinions and suggestions, my team is very direct and has no worries (by the way, I like this state very much). If you have no one to do challenging things, if you are stifling creativity and innovation, or if you are willful, you will not have a hard-working team. As a leader, you need to encourage diversified thinking and methods, especially those experienced and skilled employees. As long as their feedback is professional, thoughtful and beneficial to our team's customers, I will say, just ask me? Say hello? . I will promise to do it myself.
To lead your team, you should focus on the goal and put the big goal aside.
When setting goals, we should concentrate on several tasks instead of casting nets to catch small fish. After you have achieved the above goals, you can make further efforts to achieve other more goals. When you set too many goals, you will find that many people can't start. But if you set reasonable goals for the team, your team members don't need to make too many judgments, so they can take fewer detours. So that you can have the energy to deal with other things at hand.
6. Maintain stable and concentrated communication.
For a team, a very important element is stable communication. Whether it is email, conference call, face-to-face meeting or online meeting, it is very important for the company to have an open communication channel.
If you want to get better results, you can also use a platform that can concentrate on communication. Our own company uses Basecamp, which can provide us with various tools so that our work can be carried out in an orderly way. Having such a software is very, very helpful when documents, events, brainstorming meetings, tasks and other things happen in a centralized way.
