(4) The certification marks of organic food and green food are also different. The logo of organic food is different in different countries and different certification bodies. The logo of green food is unified and unique in China. It is a quality certification trademark registered by China Green Food Development Center in the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
2. Legal basis: Article 9 of the Measures for the Administration of Green Food Labels
Products applying for using green food labels shall comply with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products, and meet the following conditions within the scope approved by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce:
(1) Products.
(2) The use of inputs such as pesticides, fertilizers, feeds and veterinary drugs conforms to the guidelines for the use of green food inputs;
(3) The product quality meets the quality standard of green food products;
(4) Packaging, storage and transportation meet the standards for packaging, storage and transportation of green food.
2. How to apply for a green food certificate
1. The applicant fills in an application form for the use of green food signs in duplicate and reports it to the local provincial green food management department.
2. The provincial green food management department entrusts an environmental protection monitoring agency that has passed the metrological certification at or above the provincial level to conduct an environmental assessment of the origin of the product or the raw materials of the product.
3. The provincial green food management department conducts a preliminary examination of the application materials and reports the materials that have passed the preliminary examination to China. Qualified, the food monitoring agency designated by China Green Food Development Center samples its declared products, and tests them according to the quality and hygiene standards of green food; For unqualified products, the application will no longer be accepted in that year.
5. China Green Food Development Center will conduct a comprehensive review of the products that have passed the quality and hygiene inspection, and sign an agreement on the use of green food signs with qualified applicants, and the Ministry of Agriculture will issue a certificate and number for the use of green food signs; Reported to the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce for the record and announced to the public at the same time.
