The catering industry in China has maintained a rapid development of over 15 years 10%. The catering industry is becoming an important force to stimulate domestic demand. It is precisely because of the strong development of domestic catering industry that I chose to study cooking in the Vocational Education Center School of Chuzhou University in order to catch the "express train" in this new century. However, the competition in the catering professional market is extremely fierce. Once you spend more time and suffer more setbacks than others before reaching the other side of your career, you will pay a heavy price for your inefficiency. Therefore, I realize that as the steering wheel of career navigation, I must make a systematic plan for my future career. Therefore, I have made the following career plans:
First, weaving dreams, accurate positioning
There is a story like this: once upon a time, there was a young man who had been a vegetable farmer for generations. The young man picks dung every day to water the vegetables in the vegetable field and does the same job year after year. One day, on his way to the vegetable field, he saw the luxurious buildings of the rich man in the village in the distance, and suddenly had a dream in his heart: if I am as rich as him one day, I must build a pair of gold poles for picking dung. Even the young man who picks up dung has his own dreams. I should have my own career dream. First of all, I should be prepared to start my own business-work and constantly accumulate myself. Secondly, I want to innovate in employment and start a business. Finally, I should start my own business and embark on a brilliant career. Therefore, my short-term goal is to become a qualified chef, my medium-term goal is to become a senior supervisor and senior technician of a restaurant department manager, and my long-term goal is to become a successful boss of a restaurant chain enterprise.
Second, self-evaluation and firm confidence.
An excellent catering manager must have: 1. Rich professional knowledge and skills; 2. The concept of lifelong learning; 3. Good personal charm; 4. The spirit of hard work; 5. Social skills and cooperation skills. I am extroverted, quick-thinking, strong in innovative thinking, good in eloquence, good in appearance and solid in professional skills. During my school years, I participated in many poetry recitations, speeches and professional skills competitions, and won many awards. As a study Committee member in the class, I have strong working ability and laid a foundation for my future management ability. I have been exposed to the hard-working spirit from my family since I was a child. I have the basic qualities to be a chef. Nearly half a year's internship experience has cultivated a strong sense of professionalism and social responsibility, and cooking has also been greatly improved. At the same time, I am a person who is good at getting along with others. My good expression skills, social skills and cooperation skills will make me an excellent catering technology and management talent.
Third, plan the present and look forward to the future.
In order to achieve my career goals, I made the following designs:
1. Preparation stage: 17-20 years old focuses on learning, successfully completes three years' study career, lays a solid professional foundation, takes advantage of one year's internship and spare time to participate in social practice, accumulate experience, exercise business ability, complete intensive training of double-certificate examination in school, obtain professional qualification certificate of intermediate chef, prepare for obtaining advanced skill qualification after taking up the post, and learn Mandarin.
2. Part-time stage: 2 1-25 years old. Pay attention to cultivating the ability of horizontal development, and gradually pass the training of basic positions such as water table, chopping board, lotus flower, cold dish and stove in professional technology, and constantly master the new knowledge, new materials, new technology and new products of catering, then at the management level, it is necessary to gradually experience the horizontal direction of pastry department-Chinese food department-western food department. This also helps me to cultivate skills and experience for senior managers. I should start at the grassroots level and constantly improve my business level. In terms of ability, I should meet the following requirements: good reputation, ability to control employees, strong management ability and appeal. Of course, if it is different from the original design, I can make corresponding adjustments at this stage and choose my most suitable occupation and post.
3. Entrepreneurial stage: 26-33 years old. My idea is to take eight years to achieve a technological leap from the development and management of intermediate chefs-senior chefs-technicians-senior technicians to ordinary employees-kitchen supervisors-deputy managers of catering departments-managers of catering departments. As an employee, if you want to develop from a grass-roots position to a senior management position, you are considered to be proficient in professional skills.
4. Self-employment stage: 34-50 years old. The goal is to become a successful restaurant chain owner. What kind of professional concept, there will be what kind of practice. The same is selling chickens. An old lady took her chickens to the market and sold them all her life. She supported her family and built several houses. For her, this is also called a complete life and a happy life. KFC also sells chickens, not even whole chickens, but only chicken wings and drumsticks, but its business covers the whole world because it has the concept of chain sales and the idea of doing big business. I will study hard the operation mode and concept of successful enterprises, and make use of the experience gained in the process of starting my own business and the precipitation of funds to achieve my highest career goal and become a successful boss of chain catering enterprises.
5. Career transformation stage: After the age of 50, adjust the career direction appropriately, sum up experience, be a catering technical consultant, train a new generation of cooking technical successors, and prepare for bidding farewell to your career.
Fourth, achieve the goal, based on the present.
First of all, establish a correct professional attitude. A successful entrepreneur must have three basic conditions: correct attitude, reasonable knowledge structure and proficient management experience. Only with a correct professional attitude can he embark on a successful career path. Self-confidence is the most precious wealth in life, and willpower is the pillar of success in life. While fully understanding your emotions and feelings, we should establish a mentality of self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement and a mentality of "winner".
Secondly, to become an expert in the catering industry, it is essential to receive training. I must seek to participate in overseas catering management training, hire catering experts for training, conduct various catering inspections and studies, complete college and undergraduate education, maximize my learning ability, social ability and work ability, and strive to improve my theoretical knowledge and business skill structure.
Third, strengthen physical exercise and improve physical fitness. Chef is a bitter and tiring occupation, which requires high physical quality of chefs. I will strengthen physical exercise and strive to improve my physical fitness to ensure that a healthy body will accompany my career until the end of my life.
Career planning describes my career for me. It is my outlook for the future and my career goal. I will strive for self-improvement and dare to challenge. Career planning will accompany me to the other side of career success!
