Jinshui Garden faces the Yellow River in the west and the Mu Us Sandy Land in the back. It is a good place to visit the Yellow River, watch the desert and have fun. The ancient ferry in the park was once the gateway to the capital of Xixia (now Yinchuan). In A.D. 1697, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty crossed the Yellow River here to pacify galdan, leaving a magnificent poem about crossing the river after crossing the border mountains. The large sculpture Ode to the Yellow River, located in the center of Jinshui Garden, is a landmark building in Jinshui Tourist Area, with a height of 1 9.98m and an exhibition hall showing the history of the Yellow River at the bottom, covering an area of11,000m2.
