What paper do you usually pack food with?
When customizing food packaging bags, there are many kinds of paper you can choose, and there are four commonly used ones: kraft paper, coated paper, white cardboard and offset paper. Different types of paper have different toughness, smoothness and aesthetics. When making paper bags, food packaging bag manufacturers will compare and choose according to the purpose of paper bags and the characteristics of different papers.

Kraft paper: It is made of cork kraft pulp, which is very strong, usually yellowish brown, in addition to light brown, cream or white. The thickness is 80g ~ 120g. Kraft paper has large tensile force, such as single light, double light, stripe, no grain, etc. It is mainly used for making environment-friendly portable paper bags, food take-out paper bags, packaging paper bags, envelope bags, document bags, medical records bags and so on from dried fruits such as chestnuts in supermarkets.

White board: a single-layer or multi-layer combination made of bleached chemical pulp and full size. White cardboard has a smooth surface and a hard texture. At present, imported white cardboard occupies a large market share in the domestic market. White cardboard is mainly used to make high-grade exquisite handbags, packaging bags, gift packaging boxes, business cards and so on.

Coated paper: The main raw materials are coated base paper and paint. Pigment, adhesive and auxiliary materials are made into paint, which is coated on the surface of cardboard by special equipment, dried and calendered. Smooth and flat surface, good printing performance. The thickness is 70 ~ 250g, which is mostly used for cigarette cases, labels, cartons, etc.

Offset paper: The paper surface is white and smooth, but its whiteness, compactness and smoothness are lower than that of coated paper. Suitable for printing monochrome or multicolor book covers, characters, inserts, pictorial, maps, posters, color trademarks and various packaging products. In recent years, it has also been used to make packaging bags for dried fruits such as chestnuts.
