How to deal with sudden food safety accidents:
1. Food business enterprises should formulate food safety accident handling plans, regularly check the implementation of various food safety preventive measures of enterprises, and eliminate hidden dangers of food safety accidents in time;
2. In case of food safety accident, it shall be handled immediately. Take immediate control measures such as sealing up food and raw materials, tools and equipment that cause or may cause food safety accidents, and report to the health administrative department at a higher level within 2 hours from the time of the accident to prevent the accident from expanding;
3. Actively cooperate with the investigation and handling of food safety accidents, and do not conceal, falsely report, delay reporting or destroy relevant evidence about food safety accidents;

The Food Safety Committee of the State Council is responsible for analyzing the food safety situation, researching and deploying, making overall plans to guide food safety work, proposing major policies and measures for food safety supervision and management, and urging the implementation of food safety supervision and management responsibilities. The food safety committees of local people's governments at or above the county level shall carry out their work in accordance with the responsibilities stipulated by the people's governments at the corresponding levels.
