Food and beverage service license management law Article 2 This law applies to units and individuals engaged in catering services (hereinafter referred to as catering service providers), except food vendors and units and individuals that provide semi-finished food for catering service providers. A licensing system shall be implemented for catering services. The catering service provider shall obtain the "Catering Service License" and bear the responsibility for food safety of catering services according to law. Collective dining distribution units are included in the scope of catering service license management. Article 3 The State Food and Drug Administration of the United States shall be in charge of the administration of catering service licenses nationwide, and local food and drug supervision and administration departments at all levels shall be responsible for the administration of catering service licenses within their respective administrative areas. Article 39 The meaning of the following terms in this Law: Catering service refers to the service activities of providing consumers with food and places and facilities for consumption through instant processing, commercial sales and service labor. Business premises refer to places directly or indirectly related to food processing and operation, including food processing and catering places. The format of catering service providers refers to various catering service business forms, including restaurants, fast food restaurants, snack bars, beverage shops and canteens. Collective dining distribution unit refers to the unit that processes and distributes food centrally, but does not provide dining places according to the ordering requirements of the service objects.
