Diary of Shanghai University Canteen

brand new

Yixin canteen has two floors. The first floor is mainly buffet dishes, jiaozi and some simple pasta. It can be said that "the first floor of Yixin is a paradise for the poor." A big bowl of noodles for breakfast even costs 5 yuan! You can't buy it at a loss if you can't buy it! Because the buffet dishes here are cheaper than other canteens, and most of them are maintained at around 1 1, 12, 13 yuan (of course, it is not excluded that all the dishes in the sea will be eaten after 20 or 30 minutes), but the buffet dishes on the first floor of Yixin are quite miscellaneous. Some people think it is too oily or salty, but it is ok for me.

Yixin's second floor should be a little more advanced, with everything from egg-skating rice, bibimbap, iron plate rice and pasta. Of course, the more varieties, the higher the price. A meal is about 15~20, but it's really delicious! Therefore, there are generally more people on the second floor, and it is simply too difficult to grab seats at lunch. And it is located on the road to the new century, so CreditEase University is the first choice for me and most people.

Mel

Mel really lives up to its reputation. It is the most beautiful canteen! There is also a terrace on the second floor. Except that it is very hot in summer and very cold in winter, this terrace is very artistic and romantic, giving the canteen the feeling of candlelight dinner. Mel's dishes will be more abundant, including Hong Kong-style clay pot rice, crispy duck rice, mala Tang, fish with Chinese sauerkraut and even Xiancao and milk tea. In short, you can basically find Mel. The price here is similar to that on the second floor of Yixin, and it is also around 15~20.

In summer, Mel watermelon juice and poplar nectar are my spiritual comfort! Eating here is a good mood! However, because it is near the playground, far from the teaching building, and Shanghai University has fewer lunch breaks, it doesn't often come to Mel for dinner during class.

Yamaaki

For some minority students and international students, there are more Muslim canteens in Mingshan. For the convenience of international students, it is set up near the dormitory for international students. Shanghai University is still very human! However, the Shaanxi mutton buns here are really delicious. It's good to experience the profoundness of Chinese food once in a while, and you can meet many foreign students and friends ~

Shuixiu

Shuixiu should be the nearest canteen to the teaching building. Every time after class at noon, it will be crowded, and if you come late, you will have no food at all. I think the most important thing in this canteen is convenience, and selling some portable fast food such as hamburgers and sandwiches to those students who are in a hurry. Of course, Shuixiu canteen also has some special dishes, such as grain fish meal, slippery egg rice and spicy balsamic pot, which are still very good. It's just that there are too many people ordering food, and I really don't want to.

Orfila

Because this canteen is in the South District, only students from the South District will eat here. I've only been there once and left a bad impression on me, but it's terribly expensive! The whole big leak! However, if there are students who live in the south district, they can explore it. There seems to be an egg seller at the entrance of the canteen. I hope you can find the charm here!

Liu Yun

Speaking of this canteen in the East District, I have to mention the fried noodles on the far right of the second floor! I don't know if it's open yet, but it's really delicious! Liu Yun Dining Hall is next to Qian Weichang Library in the East District, far from the teaching building and dormitory, but my roommate and I agreed to come here once a week to enjoy a plate of fried noodles when we were freshmen.

It is simply the enjoyment of taste buds and the release of the soul! The Mao Mao Meat Pot on the first floor is also very good. General graduate students and some teachers eat here, so the environment is good and the food is good. Personally, I think we can try wading through mountains and rivers!

Orange neighbor

Finally, there is the orange neighborhood in the college student village in the new century. Because the new century is an off-campus dormitory, it is still very troublesome to eat in the school cafeteria on weekends or when there is no class. For a lazy person like me, it is difficult for me to walk to the door of the new century to get takeout. Therefore, orange neighbors are my first choice for weekends!

There are pickled fish, mala Tang, duck blood vermicelli soup, braised chicken, saliva chicken, porridge ... (I live in the new century) Anyway, the variety is quite complete. The most important thing is that under Building 22, you can pack it and take it back to the dormitory to eat. Don't be too happy, okay? !
