Provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Health Department (Bureau), Food and Drug Administration:
Based on the "Food Safety Law", since June 1, 2009 to enable the "food service license. Now on the license to enable and issue the following notice:
A, since June 1, 2009 onwards, the food service operators to apply for a new, change, renewal, replacement of the license, food service regulatory authorities at all levels should be in strict accordance with the "Food Safety Law" requirements, the issuance of "Food Service License". Food service operators in June 1, 2009 has been obtained before the "food hygiene license", the license continues to be valid during the validity period, the expiration of the validity period, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "food service license".
Second, the State Food and Drug Administration is currently working on the development of "Food Service License Management Measures" and its relevant supporting regulations, before the introduction of the approach, please strictly in accordance with the "Food Safety Law", the State Council administrative regulations and the Ministry of Health on the catering food hygiene supervision conditions and procedures for the implementation of food service licensing work.
Three, food service licenses according to the food service operators of the business and the size of the implementation of classification management. Classification is as follows:
(a) restaurants (including restaurants, taverns, hotels, restaurants, etc.): refers to meals (including Chinese, Western, Japanese, Korean, etc.) as the main business items of the unit, including hot-pot restaurants, barbecue restaurants.
1. Extra-large restaurants: refers to the use of business premises with an area of more than 3,000 square meters (excluding 3,000 square meters), or the number of seats for dining more than 1,000 (excluding 1,000 seats).
2. Large restaurants: refers to the use of business premises with an area of 500 to 3000 square meters (excluding 500 square meters, including 3000 square meters), or the number of seats in the 250-1000 seats (excluding 250 seats, including 1000 seats) of the restaurant.
3. Medium-sized restaurants: refers to the use of business premises in the area of 150-500 square meters (excluding 150 square meters, including 500 square meters), or the number of seats in the 75-250 seats (excluding 75 seats, including 250 seats) of the restaurant.
4. Small restaurants: refers to the use of business premises area of 150 square meters (including 150 square meters), or the number of seats in the meal 75 people (including 75 seats) below the restaurant.
If the area and the number of seats are divided into two categories, the restaurant category in which the larger one.
(ii) fast food restaurant: refers to the centralized processing and distribution, on-site meal consumption and rapid provision of dining services as the main form of processing and supply units.
(C) snack bar: refers to the snacks, snacks as the main business items of the unit.
(d) beverage store: refers to the supply of alcohol, coffee, tea or drinks as the main unit.
(E) cafeteria: refers to institutions, schools, enterprises and institutions, construction sites and other locations (places), for internal workers, students and other dining units.
Four, "Food Service License" should contain the unit name, address, legal representative (responsible person or owner), category, license number, licensing authority (stamped), the date of issuance, expiration date and remarks.
