Huxian Botanical Garden, Huxian Botanical Garden is located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, with Wu Tong, the highest peak in Shenzhen, in the east and Shenzhen Reservoir in the west. Covering an area of 546 hectares, it was founded in 1983 and officially opened to the public in 1988. It is a botanical garden integrating species protection, scientific research, popular science and tourism.

The construction of Hongfa Temple began at 1983, and was started by Elder Ben Huan himself at 1985. 1June, 1992, the main building was basically completed, and a grand ceremony was held for the opening of the Buddha statue and the ascension of Elder Ben Huan. The municipal government officially approved the opening of religious sites.
