As of August 2019 Ulanchab City in Inner Mongolia has an airport, which is called Ulanchab Airport.

Wulanchabu Airport is located in the north-east direction of Ulanchab city center, in the administrative village of Sancheng Bureau, Malianqu Township, 11.3㎞ straight-line distance from the railway station, and 20km straight-line distance from Ulanchab High-speed Railway Station and Ulanchab Bus Passenger Terminal.

The flight area is classified as Class 4C, with a runway length of 3200m and a terminal building area of 35,700 square meters, which can meet the takeoff and landing of Boeing 737 series and the following types of airplanes.

On December 15, 2015, another King Air 350i, code-named B-3583, a CAAC airliner landed at Ulaanchabu Airport to conduct a commissioning calibration flight of the airport.

During this commissioning calibration flight, CAAC's calibration center will strictly follow the CAAC flight calibration standards and based on the results of the first calibration flight.
