Changing temperament-the way to change fate
Training to control dreams
Dreams can be controlled by themselves;
1. Wake up and dream.
As the old saying goes, "Life is like a dream". However, people's innate dreams are almost dreams. Buddhism often uses dreams as a metaphor, and many people have talked about this in ancient and modern times. The Book of Rites lists dozens of dreams, and Liezi also classifies dreams. Huangdi Neijing also has the classification of dreams and diseases. Modern psychology believes that dreams are the function of the subconscious. It is also said that it is a psycho-pathological phenomenon, such as "sleepwalking" and "out-of-body experience", which are all taken in dreams. Hong Mai's Rongzhai Essays said: "There are eighteen kinds of miscellaneous books in Han Dynasty, with Huangdi and Gande Dream as the leading books. He said: the miscellaneous occupier is the image of a hundred schools of thought, waiting for the proof of good and evil, the public is not one, and the dream is big, so Zhou has his official. The method of three dreams in the hands of Li Zhou Taibu: one is dream, the other is dream, and the third is salty. Zheng said that dreams, dreams of Ji, dreams of businessmen, and dreams he said were all dreams, all dreams of Zhou people. And take the dream as an official, and the sun, the moon and the stars account for six dreams. They don't say "right", "bad", "thinking", "happiness" and "fear". Wang Meng was hired to give Wang Xian a good dream, and Wang worshiped, but she sprouted everywhere and gave him nightmares. Those who give up germination will still release food. If you give, you give.
In Poems, Books and Rites, Gao Zongmeng said. Zhou Wuwang Mengdi was nine years old, and he cut the dream leaf I, Bukuomu. The shepherd dreamed of a bear (snake), told him to be old, and dreamed of news. There are many books in Zuo Zhuan. Confucius dreamed of sitting in two bowls. However, the ancient sages always regard dreams as big, especially what they see in the Seven Laws. Cooking skills in Wei and Jin dynasties still existed from time to time, but today people no longer attach importance to them. Although this divination is in the street, it is located in a forest. No one can claim his dream, and his knowledge is almost impossible. "
On the origin of dreams, Buddhism can be divided into five parts: one thought, two memories, three diseases, four uplifting images (experience images) and five elements (future facts). Dreams work. This is monocular consciousness, also known as monocular consciousness. It is equivalent to the psychological subconscious. Consciousness has a distinct function, and the consciousness at one end is the shadow of consciousness.
Alone in a sleep coma, even at rest, it plays a role. This paper discusses five kinds of dreams.
1. dreamer: if the mind is specialized and the meaning sticks to personnel and material desires, dreams will appear when sleeping. But it can only allude to things, or simply refer to dreams, combined with physical illness, past experiences and so on. , form a dream. The most obvious example, such as lovesickness of men and women, is easy to dream. All this is a dream.
Second, the dreamer: it is also close to thinking, but the role of memory and thinking is different. Thinker, consciousness plays an ideological role; Memorizers are used to what they see, smell, feel and know. They don't need to think consciously, but they are unexpected. For example, Lu Fangweng's poem said, "I didn't know everything was empty until I died, but I couldn't see Kyushu. Julian Waghann set the Central Plains Day in the north, and the family sacrifice did not forget to tell Nai Weng. " A poem in the Tang Dynasty said: "Crossing the fence to the small bridge, there is a red jiao in the shadow of Populus davidiana. There is no difference in vision, and I don't want to put my heart down. " Such a so-called unwilling person is also remembering. As Li Houzhu said, "If you keep cutting, you will be confused. It is parting, especially the general taste in your heart. " Everyone remembers the deep-seated phenomenon, so that dreamers also remember their dreams.
Third, dreamers: such as diet stagnation, physical obstacles and heavy dreams, or being chased and struggling. Another example is that blood can't be distinguished, and those who are wet dream of water. Those who are inflamed and full of fire dream of fire. If the blood circulation is too fast and the atmosphere is strong, then dreams will fly. For example, dreams of high blood pressure, low blood pressure, blue dreams of liver diseases, red and purple dreams of heart diseases, yellow dreams of spleen diseases, white dreams of lung diseases, black dreams of kidney diseases, even horrible dreams, happy and happy dreams can all be controlled by diseases. Can also be used in the first two.
Fourthly, people in MUBI: people who have dreamed in the previous three kinds of dreams, or involved in past experiences, or relived the past in their dreams, so they rarely have more impressions than usual knowledge and experiences. If there is, it is not a dream that can explain it.
5. Dreamer: It is very unpredictable, just like a dream that has never been experienced, a stranger, an inexperienced thing, etc. But after a few days, the bodies are connected and the symbols of dreams are known, which shows that dreams have an effect. This kind of dream needs to learn from Buddhism and know that her husband is "idealistic in the three realms and only knows everything." "In the tenth century, from ancient times to the present, I have never been separated from my thoughts, nor have I been separated from him." If we understand this, we can know that the intimate consciousness and the hidden nature of the Tathagata have everything, including all parts of San Ji, including the ten directions.
If we know the causes of dreams, then we can know that auspicious dreams and horrible nightmares are the realization of consciousness, and there are clues to be found, and there is nothing strange. Looking around the world, people are often happy because of good dreams or worried because of nightmares. Actually, the same thing is the other way around. Zhuangzi also didn't say anything: "I really don't know Dream Butterfly Week? Suppress Zhou's dream butterfly? " Are you an idiot? Knowing that it is a dream is already a mirage. Which one is for testing? It's not the same as carving a boat for a sword. There is a way to cultivate dreams in Tibetan secrets, and dreams are the gateway to the Tao. Another example is a prisoner who is waiting for a sentence. All hope is gone, and he has no dreams after being sentenced. Buddhists often sleep at night without dreams; Or even in a dream, it is still vivid, and Gai has come to a rude awakening. There is a saying that Zhuangzi said that "the supreme person has no dreams", which means that all saints have no dreams; In fact, it's not dreamless, and the dream wakes up like an ear! If there is no dream at all, why does Sakyamuni dream of the golden drum and Xu Anni dream of the Duke of Zhou and drink two cups? Zhuang Zhou dreamed of butterflies, which is not a human dream! Its significance can be thought deeply. Ordinary so-called dreamers are in a sleep coma. Modern physiologists say that the function of dreams is caused by the incomplete rest of the cranial nerves. Idealism and materialism are indisputable. The so-called dreamer is that after waking up, the five senses are still in use, and when the consciousness is clear, he can remember yesterday's dream. Everything in a dream is unpredictable and uncontrollable, so it is called a dream. Who knows that in our daily life, the use of the six roots is constantly moving, such as the color of the eyes, which is fleeting when it turns, just like a dream; The smell of ears, nose, tongue, body movements and thoughts of the mind are impermanent and can be captured. What difference does it make if they don't have dreams? When the day's work is over, close your eyes and sleep, and everything is gone, then what you do during the day is not a dream! The dead no longer come, and the future has not yet arrived. Year and month, day and hour, minute and second, time changes, there is one thing and one method. The so-called realist is just a flash of fate, and fate is gone! If you can observe carefully, there is no difference between day and night.
If people can always empty their hearts, as Pang Jushi said, "I hope to empty everything, but be careful not to actually have nothing." When you miss it, don't stay in the past, don't go against the future, don't live in the present. Suddenly, San Ji held his breath, and his consciousness was not good, so he was between actions, but the first five senses (that is, the direct feeling of the five senses, not the separate perception of consciousness) were used in the environment, so this body is like a vacuum ball or bottle, which is the so-called current state of mind, and the emptiness and statelessness of Hinayana people can be presented. At this point, everything seems like a dream to the outside world. Depending on the movements and voices of people in the mountains and rivers, they are all moving images. Not only do I feel like a dream, an illusion, and a shadow on other things in another plane, but my body and mind are also like dreams. Static and dynamic behaviors are powerless, such as Yongjiayun: "When you are careful, you just have no intention. Unintentionally used, commonly used. " Isn't it fun! Although, this is still a dream. I have to say, "There is nothing to hide in an empty glass." Stay away from dreams, get nirvana, and you can be born into the WTO and be at ease. But in the land where saints fall in love and surpass the Buddha, they still have to eat spicy strips. Cloud Gate said, "This is the principle of compassion, and there are words of becoming an outlaw." If you want to study the Ming Dynasty, look back at Yunmen language: "Fan ① danced for 33 days and touched the emperor's nostrils. The carp in the East China Sea hit a stick and it rained cats and dogs. " After all? Say: ginseng! (① Left foot and right foot)

Change dreams
After the cognitive dream is stable, you can continue the next stage of training-dream change.
In my dream, I can already realize that I am dreaming. At this time, I immediately reminded myself: "I have the ability to change my dream now." Then, you can turn yourself into an adult or a Buddha and Bodhisattva ... so that you can gradually train yourself to the level of improvisation.
In order to improve the ability to change dreams, the "alternating change method" can be applied. For example, first turn yourself into the image of Manjusri Bodhisattva, then turn from Manjusri Bodhisattva to Guanyin Bodhisattva, and then turn from Guanyin Bodhisattva to Manjusri Bodhisattva. In addition, from the initial view of Manjusri Bodhisattva to countless Manjusri Bodhisattvas, and then from countless Manjusri Bodhisattvas to a Manjusri Bodhisattva, that is, from one to many, from one to another.
According to this method of modification, after the modification, to a certain extent, you can change other things. For example, turning fire into water and turning water into fire; Turn vanity into the earth, and turn the earth into vanity. ...
In dreams, if there are things that symbolize monsters, such as human figures and dogs (when such things appear, they often feel uneasy), they should immediately become angry gods and subdue them with fierce power ... Such changes are endless, and we can change them at will in the field of infinite freedom.
In addition, there is another way to change dreams, which is adventure practice. After realizing that this is a dream, I plan to go to the river and the beach. Remind yourself first: "Now I am a dream, and I won't be washed away by the river at all." Then I suddenly jumped into the river ... as a result, I was not washed away by the river, and I probably didn't feel anything else. Similarly, whether in a raging fire or in a cliff abyss, as long as there is danger and fear, you can take risks. Finally, all fear phenomena can be completely transformed into meditation.
If you want to expand the training scope of dreams, you can go to the sacred mountains and Buddhist temples in your dreams for sightseeing and worship. The way is to always remind yourself that this is a dream during the day. Before going to bed, I will think in my throat where I want to go or where I will stop, and gradually fall asleep. After recognizing the dream in the dream, remind yourself: "It is not enough to recognize the dream only. Body and mind should leave the flesh and blood and go to the holy mountain or the Buddha country to brake the soil. " If you concentrate on yourself, it's easy to get to your destination. After watching the pilgrimage, I thought to myself, "Now I should go home and get into my head." In this way, I returned to my residence. ...
The first time I go to a place like Buddhism, the scene may be vague at first, but with the deepening of training, it will gradually become clear. When practicing dharma, we must pay attention to: don't turn, bend or curl, otherwise it will affect the normal and smooth flow of the wind pulse and be unfavorable for practicing dreams. We not only need to have a correct sleeping posture, but also need to breathe slowly and be conscious. ...
As for sleepwalking in Buddhist temples, it is inevitable that someone will ask this question: "Is it true that you have been to the land like Elysium or Bronze Auspicious Mountain in your dreams?"
On this issue, I think that if there is no trick about changing dreams and brightening dreams, the place where such people dream of going may not be a real Buddhist temple. Because, according to the secret theory, when the wind blows, consciousness enters the body vein, and dreams are born. Among them, when the wind enters the smooth pulse, there will be a feeling of "entering the Buddha's country to brake the soil". Master Zong Kaba pointed out in this case: "With the help of the wind and the consciousness of' wanting to brake the soil', the clean brake soil you see is only an image of the real brake soil. The statement that' seeing the real brake soil' is difficult to establish. "

In the past, Master Wujinba (4), Master Dasba and Lama Chaqiongba met together and went on a trip that night. The two masters achieved great success because of their dream practice, and they saw the same scene. However, Chaqiongba Lama's dream practice achievement level is average, and what he sees is slightly different from them. ...
Sleepwalking in the Buddhist country, praying under the Buddha's seat, or being blessed by good knowledge in a dream, etc ... Does this person really benefit from Buddhism? The answer is yes. Once upon a time, a disciple asked Karmapa (the third) Jean Xiongduoji for dharma. Karmapa told him to go back first and promised to preach Dharma in his dream. Later, at the appointed time, Karmapa really taught him Buddhism. The first Karmapa once asked Master Gampopa, "What is the real significance of initiation and inheritance in dreams?" Master Gampopa replied: "As long as you have enough confidence, the revelation from dreams is not only really useful, but also better than the real revelation!" Regarding this kind of teaching, I also talked about the same point in Xia Zhong's "The Good Learning of Tashi Bazhu" (V) in reply to Joe's letter. ...
Changing dreams can not only achieve enlightenment, but also provide yourself with favorable convenience. For example, we can apply dreams to learn Confucian classics in real life. Once upon a time, Master Jobic Dorje (the fourth King of the Great Dharma) filled his bedroom with scriptures. In his dream, he used his evening time to study the classics extensively. He is not only familiar with Confucian classics, but also fresh in his memory.
The above only talked about a few skills to change dreams and some related examples. In fact, dream practice can be applied to various fields. For example, this method can improve the quality of life, stimulate our potential vitality, repair some defects in past lives, and restore vitality ... and so on. Among them, some methods have been adopted by some western experts and scholars.
For example, there was a seminar in Houston, USA, which changed the application of dream research. There is a message like this: "If you change the research and application of dreams, you can turn a nightmare into a dream, so big that you can improve the whole waking' dream': dreams can be used as a place for life rehearsal and experiment. A lady has nightmares every year, in which she is chased by a vicious monster. Every time she wakes up from a nightmare, she feels sad. However, after attending the training of dream-changing research, he knew that he was having a nightmare, so he changed her previous reaction. Instead of running away, she bravely faced the fierce monster. Unexpectedly, the monster disappeared in a cloud of smoke, and she never had this nightmare again. In a dream, you can begin to change a person's habitual reactions or shortcomings. For example, if someone has a bad temper, he will always get angry because of unpleasant things, because it is a dream anyway, so why be so serious. Slowly, the reaction will improve when you wake up. For another example, if someone is afraid to speak in public, if there is an opportunity in their dreams, they can practice boldly. Slowly, we will find that life is like a dream, and everything in life will be different because of the change of our thinking and attitude. Just as a nightmare in a dream can become a dream, a' dream' in life can also change from a nightmare to a dream. "
I am very grateful for the ideas put forward in this information. Therefore, dreams and waking are inextricably linked. Because of this, if you can change your dreams at will, you can change the real situation, which is very logical. These truths can also be confirmed by personal experience.
In the eyes of ordinary people, there is a distance between dreams and waking up, just like the distance between darkness and light. However, this is not the case. Their substrates are the same except for doped and undoped sleep components. Because they are interrelated, sometimes dreams and waking are almost mixed together. ...
Geng Dengqun Pei, a famous Buddhist scholar, once told a very interesting experience about Rao Living Buddha: "In my dream, sometimes I can be above. At that time, I could choose my direction at will, and with a little effort, I could immediately turn around ... If I could really dream of flying, I would feel very happy and comfortable. Sometimes I can recognize dreams in my dreams, and I can tell the difference between the paper I dreamed in my dreams and the paper I saw during the day. In my dream, I tried to burn paper, which was wonderful. I smell the same smell of burning paper as during the day. Sometimes when I wake up from a dream, what I saw in my dream is still vivid in my room. But when my body moved a little or blinked, those sights disappeared without a trace.
This example illustrates the reason why the dream function can be applied to wakefulness (initial wakefulness stage) in sleep-like and non-sleep catnap states.
And those who have realized their dreams of change and light can not only refer to their waking state, but also make full use of them even during the day. Bouton Rinpoche had a disciple named Lama, who went to the Gangdise Mountain to retreat with several others. On the way, they will cross the Hot Dabbour River in the north of the Gangdise Mountains. Due to the fatigue of the journey and physical weakness, the Lama was washed away by the water when crossing the river ... At this time, he thought it was a dream, so he sat down calmly and floated on the water, drifting with the tide ... His companions saw him floating together and being washed away by the current, and they were in a hurry and threw ropes at him while chasing. When the Lama grabbed the rope, he suddenly felt that it was not a dream. He woke up from meditation and suddenly sank into the water ... after his companion was rescued, he survived. ...
There are six kinds of red religions.
Some of our classmates studied in the Red Religion, in which there are six kinds of "things that exist" (things of life and death, things of dreams, things of pregnancy, things of meditation, things of the end of dharma, things of reincarnation). For example, from death to reincarnation, there is something in this period, and the body in this period is also called bardo. After death, the soul reincarnates and becomes a fetus. We are alive during this period, and there is one more thing in between waking up during the day and going to bed at night. So I often ask people who meditate very hard. Do you know how you sleep? Attention, do you know what it's like to fall asleep on a pillow? Most people pay attention to what I say, but they can't sleep. If you don't pay attention, you will get dizzy again. Most people do.
Our thoughts are also in a period between dreams and waking. An idea has passed, and the last idea has not yet arisen. Sometimes it seems to be stuck, and this paragraph is also true. When we breathe in and out, there is something in it. Maitreya Buddha told us in the yoga teacher's "On the Earth" that there is a kind of "neutral spirit", which refers to this. Just like taking a nap, so I often scold you for taking a nap, not asking you to just count your breath! Not an accountant! After you have a clear understanding, you can grasp what is in the middle of sleepiness and disorder.
If we take ontology as an example, disorganization is not fixed, nor is sleepiness fixed. Chaos and sleepiness both come from the noumenon, just as darkness and light are changed by the same thing. But what we are talking about now is Kung Fu. Whether you are noumenon or not, darkness is darkness, and light is light. So is there a gap between darkness and light? What is that thing that looks bright and doesn't look bright? Knowing this, you will know how to work hard and get on the road quickly.
