Qingdao travel guide
(1) local characteristics
1. Oriental Switzerland
Qingdao is surrounded by mountains and faces the sea, with trees everywhere and a very mild and pleasant climate. There are only 65 days in summer every year. In August, the hottest summer, the temperature is only 25.1 degrees Celsius. People call Qingdao a "summer resort" and a "paradise in summer".
As a tourist city, Qingdao has Neolithic sites such as Sanlihe, and famous historical sites such as Qi Great Wall, Tian Heng Island, Langxietai and Zhushan Grottoes. The dangerous peaks and rocks in Laoshan Mountain and the seaside scenery in the urban area have formed countless scenic spots; There are miraculous caves such as Nryana Cave and Baiyun Cave; There are famous springs such as Taiyi, Shenshui and Jinye, and Qingxi. Ancient celebrities such as Zheng Xuan, Qiu Changchun, Zhang Sanfeng, Li Bai, Gu Yanwu, Pu Songling, Gao Fenghan, Kang Youwei, etc. traveled all over the country, leaving colorful poems. In the midsummer season, the number of bathers in various bathing beaches often reaches hundreds of thousands a day. New hotels have sprung up. The former German prefect's official residence and Gongwangfu have also been opened to the outside world.
Qingdao is rich and beautiful, just as Comrade Chen Yi said in < < Visiting Qingdao for the first time > > The poem says, "Look at the blue sky and the blue sky, which shines in the city. Try to see the pine and cypress green, and its green dye peaks. "
2. Fairy Mountain on the Sea
Laoshan Mountain has been called "fairy cave house" and "the first fairy mountain on the sea" since ancient times because of its secluded place in the corner of the sea, steep mountains and dense forests and beautiful scenery. All kinds of magical legends and stories have been circulated among the beautiful mountains and rivers so far. According to historical records, both Qin Shihuang and Han Wudi have been to Laoshan Mountain. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty sent people into the mountains to practice the medicine of longevity, and renamed Laoshan as "Auxiliary Tangshan". Laoshan Mountain was once an important spreading place of Taoism in history. At its peak, it was known as "Nine palaces, Eight Views and Seventy-two temples". The Taiqing Palace on the mountain was built in the late Tang Dynasty, and the Taiping Palace and Shangqing Palace were built in the early Song Dynasty, all of which have a history of more than a thousand years. At present, the only monastery in the mountain is Huayan Temple, which was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.
Due to the appreciation of emperors and the admiration of famous Taoist priests, many scholars and celebrities have come to Laoshan in succession throughout the ages, including Li Bai, Su Dongpo, Wen Zhiming, Gu Yanwu, Zheng Banqiao, Pu Songling, Kang Youwei and Yu Dafu.
(2) the best time to travel
Qingdao has a pleasant climate, warm and humid in spring and autumn, and cool and comfortable in summer when the temperature is around 21-28℃. The golden season of tourism can last from the end of March to the beginning of October, especially in late August, when the sea is warm, it is the golden season of seaside tourism. The winter in Qingdao is bitterly cold. Although the sea water is not frozen, it is already cold to zero. If you have a strong body and enough courage, you can try a winter swim.

(6) Catering
Qingdao is rich in precious sea cucumber, scallop, abalone, conch, prawn and Cargill fish, which determines the characteristics of Qingdao cooking with seafood as the main raw material. The traditional banquet in Qingdao has a certain emphasis, and the common specifications are "416" and "428". The order of serving requires cold before hot, salty before sweet, and there must be fish at each table. Without sea cucumber, it is not a big table. Eating seafood depends on the season. Spring and summer are the best seasons, which will definitely make you want to eat meat no more. Of course, we should also be careful. Many tourists who come to Qingdao for the first time can't stand the temptation of seafood and eat too much. As a result ... (It is conceivable).
Qingdao has a large seafood banquet with northern characteristics, as well as various flavor snacks with Shandong characteristics. Pasta is overwhelming, and the heat in jiaozi is boiling. Northern food tastes heavy and needs good digestion. Qingdao famous chefs gather, delicacies are concentrated, and Tsingtao beer and Laoshan mineral spring are well-known at home and abroad. The taste is really wonderful!
In the snack street, you can enjoy the local flavor snacks in Qingdao, which is a rare pleasure in a big hotel. Pichai Yuan, located in Jiangning Road between Zhongshan Road and Hebei Road, is a famous snack street in Qingdao. In addition, there are Barley Island Seafood Street, Yunxiao Road Zhongyuan Food Street, Huiquan Snack Street, Double Star Dining Street, Taishan Road Barbecue Street, Chang 'an Food Street, etc., which are a paradise for gourmets.

The "Hong Kong Street" by Fushan Bay and the 12km waterfront Chinese civilization sculpture promenade, marine amusement city, dolphin performance hall, international beer city, marine paradise, golf course and other facilities constitute the colorful entertainment life in Qingdao. However, in this coastal and port city, the best entertainment is going to sea. Blow the sea breeze to the nearby islands and cook some seafood. Life is comfortable at this time.
There are many bars in Qingdao. Friends who like to go clubbing can go to the "Huonu Lu Lu" on the first floor of Huiquan Dynasty Hotel, which is a well-known local bar.
(8) Shopping
If you want to shop in Qingdao, you might as well take a walk on Zhongshan Road. The night view of Zhongshan Road is very beautiful, and Qingdao Hundred, Parkson and so on are still worth visiting. There are two hypermarkets on Hong Kong Middle Road in the East New District, namely "Jiashike" at the south intersection of Fuzhou and "Carrefour" at the Nanjing intersection.
Qingdao is a city with low prices in China, and its products are not only seashore products, but also packaged food with Shandong characteristics. We should be cautious when purchasing tourist goods, but we will abuse them in many ways.
It's difficult to bargain for shopping in Shandong, for one thing, it's not very expensive, and for another, Shandong people don't want to waste their breath. Try not to carry seafood after a good local meal because it is difficult to keep it fresh.

Also, please note that when you take a taxi out of Liuting Airport, you must take a taxi with a silver roof in Qingdao. Taxis with a yellow roof in Chengyang District, Laoshan District or other county-level cities can't enter Qingdao downtown.
Railway
Qingdao Railway Station is located at No.2 Tai 'an Road near the trestle bridge.
Qingdao has 24 pairs of trains to and from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Jinan, Taishan, Heze, Yantai, Weihai, Wuchang, Nanchang, Xuzhou, Zhengzhou, Xi 'an, Lanzhou, Xining, Chengdu, Taiyuan, Dandong and Tonghua every day. Except for Zibo, Yantai and Weihai, the rest stops in Jinan.
Reminder: If you come to Qingdao by train, don't take a taxi in the parking lot of the railway station after you get off the train. Taxis in the station are generally negotiated (they don't hit the meter) and refuse to run short distances. If the map is cheap, you can take a taxi on the street outside the railway station square.
Highway
The highway traffic in Qingdao is very developed. Up to now, Qingdao has built seven expressway, including Jiqing, Jiaozhou Bay, Xiliu, Shuangliu, Weilai, Qilai and Qingyin.

There is a Jinan-Qingdao high-speed bus, which takes only 4.5 hours to get to Jinan, and the fare is 79 yuan.

water transport
Qingdao has two international passenger routes, which sail all year round and leave for Incheon, South Korea at 16: 11 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Send it to Shimonoseki, Japan at 16: 11 every Tuesday and Friday.
Qingdao Port Bus Terminal is located at No.6 Xinjiang Road.
Bus
Because of the undulating terrain, bicycles and motorcycles are rarely seen in Qingdao, and buses have become the main means of transportation in the city. Qingdao's public transportation is very convenient, extending in all directions, and no one sells tickets. Brand-new buses are clean inside and outside. Single fare for public transportation in 1 yuan and single fare for air-conditioned cars in 2 yuan. Bus No.26, 211 and 212 go along the seaside, passing through many scenic spots such as trestle bridge and Badaguan, starting from ferry or railway station.
The most convenient and comfortable way to travel to Qingdao is to take the air-conditioned tourist line. The vehicles of the three special tourist lines are all luxury air-conditioned CMB (28 Xiamen Jinlong). Professional tour guide service is provided throughout the journey.
You can take the No.314 bus to Laoshan (Taiqing Scenic Area), from the ferry, railway station (trestle) to Laoshan, and walk all the way to the seaside. Of course, you can also take a one-day tour of Laoshan Mountain. All hotels have agents, and most tour groups only go to Taiqing Scenic Area. If you want to go to Beijiushui and Yangkou Scenic Area, you can take the tourist shuttle bus at Huaneng Square from 7: 11 to 11: 31 every morning.
taxis
Santana and Jetta are the main taxis now. The starting fee is 4 kilometers in 7 yuan, then every kilometer in 1.2 yuan, and every kilometer in 1.5 yuan from 22: 11 at night to 5: 11 the next day. Compared with other cities, the starting fee is slightly more expensive, but the starting mileage is longer.
Reminder: Maybe foreign tourists feel that taxis in Qingdao like to beat around the bush. In fact, the traffic in Qingdao is very characteristic. Many roads are one-way. It is often seen that one road has four lanes on one side and only bus lanes on the other. This is done to speed up the speed and relieve the traffic pressure, so sometimes places that feel that they can go directly have to take a detour. If foreign tourists know a little, they will not cause too many disputes.
Ferry
The ferry route between the old city of Qingdao and Huangdao strengthens the connection between the two sides of Jiaozhou Bay. If you go around expressway in Jiaozhou Bay, the distance between the two places is 84 kilometers, but the ferry will only take 21 minutes to half an hour, and it will stop in foggy days.
ordinary boat: 16: 31 for the first shift, and at the end.
