Qianfo Mountain, located in Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, is one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan. During the reign of Emperor Kaidi of Sui Dynasty (58 1-600), due to the prevalence of Buddhism, thousands of Buddha statues were carved along the mountain, so it was called Qianfo Mountain.
