Meishan specialty one: Wengong loquat
Wengong Town was named "the hometown of loquat in China". Loquat has more than 20,000 mu. Under the guidance of experts from provincial scientific research institutes, Wengong loquat has been developed on a large scale, and its varieties have been improved, and domestic excellent varieties such as Dawuxing, Zhang Mei 77- 1, Dayuan, Jiefang and Meier No.5 have been vigorously promoted, with fast growth, early maturity, high yield per plant, large fruit and unique flavor.
Meishan specialty 2: Renshou Cao Jiali
Caojia Town, Renshou County, located at the end of Longquan Mountain Range, has been planted for more than 400 years according to the chronicle of Sichuan Pears, and there are more than 80,000 pear trees in a century. Adult pear trees12,500 mu or more, with an annual output of 32,500 tons. The excellent varieties with early, middle and late maturity have obtained the national "green food" certification and "national agricultural products geographical indication registration protection product certification", which are best-selling both inside and outside the province.
Meishan specialty 3: Hongya green tea
Hongya green tea is a specialty of Hongya County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. From Erya to Huayang, Shu people regard tea as a tribute of Zhou people. Hongya tea drinking originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Hongya green tea is flat and even in shape, with beautiful buds, green color, lasting aroma, bright yellow-green soup, fresh taste and light green leaves.
