On October 11, Shenzhen Emergency Management Bureau, shenzhen public, Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Bureau and Shenzhen Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau issued a notice prohibiting the sale of fireworks and firecrackers. The circular points out that no unit or individual is allowed to set off fireworks and firecrackers without the approval of the Municipal People's Government. Units and individuals who violate these regulations will be punished by public security departments in accordance with relevant regulations. If the public order is disturbed, the public security department will impose administrative detention of not more than fifteen days on the party concerned in accordance with the regulations. Those who cause fire or explosion accidents, causing casualties and property losses, shall be instructed to compensate for the losses, and those who seriously violate the criminal law shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law.
