2. Garbage disposal. There are more than 511 garbage dumps around Nanhu Lake in our district, and the daily production of domestic garbage is about 31 tons. Garbage disposal is mainly collected and buried by township and street urban management Aiwei workstations. Among them, only about 51 garbage from Beiban and two universities in Guozhen were removed by the Municipal Environmental Sanitation Department, and some of them were digested naturally, and some were directly washed into Nanhu by water, but they were not treated without pollution.

3. Sewage discharge and treatment. The domestic sewage around the South Lake in our district has basically not been treated and discharged directly into the South Lake. Among them, the domestic sewage in Guozhen Township is 2111 tons, which flows directly into Nanhu dam area through the lower reaches of Huangmei Port, causing a series of environmental problems: First, the water quality stinks; The second is to raise the riverbed of Huangmei Port and speed up the siltation of Huangmei Port; Third, sewage affects the water quality of surrounding villagers' wells through underground runoff; The fourth is to induce the trend of schistosomiasis in Huangmei Port; Fifth, it is harmful to fish culture in the surrounding fishing ponds. On the other hand, the sewage produced by 164 restaurants around the lake in Beigang Street, more than 11 industrial and mining enterprises along Guozhen Township, and more than 211 restaurants and more than 21 farms in other areas around the lake are directly injected into Nanhu Lake, resulting in prominent social contradictions and great opinions from the masses.

II. Suggestions and measures

1. Strict and unified planning. The surrounding areas around Nanhu Lake should be brought into the unified urban planning, the red line area should be determined, and the disorderly development and construction should be strictly controlled, and the illegal construction within the red line should be trampled to death for whatever reason. Build a beautiful South Lake with high standards, high starting point and high quality.

2. Strictly formulate policies and regulations. It is suggested that relevant departments should issue some local laws and regulations as soon as possible, and fix the measures in the form of policies and regulations on sewage discharge, deforestation, garbage disposal, catering and breeding around the lake, so as to ensure that the laws are observed and those who violate the law are prosecuted.

3. Strictly control the discharge of sewage. First, strengthen the treatment of all kinds of domestic sewage. Urban sewage must be strictly treated and discharged after reaching the standard, and suburban sewage must be discharged after static treatment. The second is to strengthen citizens' awareness of water conservation, start the project of improving water and toilets in suburban villages, purify residents' drinking water, and strengthen environmental protection law enforcement for industrial and mining enterprises around the lake.

4. Strictly control all kinds of garbage. It is suggested that the garbage disposal in our district should be unified by the Municipal Environmental Sanitation Department. The total amount of aquaculture development around the lake must be controlled within a certain range, so as not to pollute the environment, but also to protect fishery resources reasonably. 6. Prevent schistosomiasis from rising.
