Luoyang Folk Museum plaque
In recent years, Luoyang Folk Museum has been devoted to the collection of ancient plaques, and has collected more than 370 pieces of ancient plaques 1370 in our province, Shanxi, Hubei and other places. In order to protect and display these plaques, Luoyang City began to build the Luoyang Monument Museum on the west side of the museum. In order to further enrich the quantity and content of the plaques in the collection, Luoyang Folk Museum recently went south to Suzhou and collected 162 plaques in the south. These plaques are distributed in Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian and other provinces, with distinctive southern characteristics.

Wang Zhuan, director of Luoyang Folk Museum, said that these plaques are different from those in the north. Most of them are long, narrow and light, and some are like unfolded books or fans, which are very literati. The plaques are beautifully carved and elegant, and some of them are decorated with bamboo, which looks fresh and elegant. In addition, the climate in the south is humid, the colors are well preserved, and it is full of auspicious and festive atmosphere. There are many long postscript and rumors, and the writing format and layout of some plaque documents are also different from those in the north.

The contents of these plaques involve the hall number ancestral hall, official family background, wedding celebration, imperial examination fame and so on. Among them, there are 10 hall number plaques such as Wubentang, Aizhutang, Shaoyutang, Jinwentang, Peiyuantang and Leyitang, which make up for the hall number plaque collection of our museum. Another example is the collection of "Qiyi" plaque as the agent of "centenarians", which enriches the content of birthday plaque in the museum.

The dates of these plaques are mostly Yongzheng, Qianlong, Jiaqing, Daoguang and Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty, with a long history. Most of the plaques are well preserved and inscribed by historical celebrities and calligraphers, which have important literary, historical and calligraphy values.
