Tao Dong Chicken originated in Tao Dong, Xing 'an Province. The hen's feathers are usually white, while the rooster's feathers are usually colored. Adults weigh about 3-6kg. The chicken leg is as thick as a person's wrist, and the meat is delicious. The taste and nutritional value are far better than ordinary chicken (protein is twice as good as ordinary chicken). It was once used as a tribute and sacrifice to the royal family.
adaptive capacity
(1) Tao Dong chickens are docile, gregarious, like dry and clean environment, and have strong cold and heat resistance, but they are afraid of humidity, which is easy to cause parasitic diseases and arthritis.
(2) When feeding, the feed should be placed in the trough, not directly sprinkled on the ground, and the trough should be cleaned before feeding. For drinking water, unclean water sources should not be used, otherwise Tao Dong chickens may refuse to drink water.
(3) In harsh environment, Tao Dong chicken has stronger tolerance and anti-stress ability than other poultry.
