How to build a towel gourd shelf?
Loofah shelves generally have three ways to set up shelves:

1. Erect, stand in the mud with bamboo poles or other poles at equal distance, and then tie each one with rope or cloth. Because there is no support, it is easy to fall. It is best to erect stone pillars on the left and right sides of each ridge of the loofah frame to prevent the bamboo frame from collapsing. In this way, the loofah will always grow upwards, but it has certain limitations. Luffa can only climb to the length of the pole. This method is simple and saves time and material.

2. Flat frame, on the basis of vertical frame, cover it like a shed, so that loofah can naturally find room for growth on it. Therefore, its growth space is much larger than the vertical frame, but it takes a lot of materials and time. Once built, it won't be a problem for two or three years! Moreover, the output of loofah is much better than its appearance.

3. Seedlings can be planted in about 30 days by planting and scaffolding. The planting methods used in seed production of Luffa vary from place to place, and the appropriate planting methods are adopted according to the characteristics of Luffa varieties. The planting density of Luffa rib and Luffa longissima is relatively high, which is generally 667 square meters 1.200 plants (spring)-1.500 plants (autumn). The method of erecting herringbone frame is generally used to adopt this planting density;

Ribbed Luffa and medium-long Luffa can also be densely planted in fences, that is, the width of the border (even ditch) is 1.5 meters, the spacing between plants is about 35 cm, and about 2,400 plants are planted every 667 square meters, and they are cultivated with fences. The planting density of super-long loofah is generally low, with 500-600 plants per 667 square meters, planted in a single row, with a row spacing of 3-4 meters and a plant spacing of about 25 cm, and cultivated in a flat shed.
