The freehand brushwork of okra in Chinese painting;
Abelmoschus esculentus, also known as Abelmoschus esculentus and Millet. It blooms in summer and autumn with five petals of yellow and purple, as big as a bowl. Leaves are like human palms, with five tips, deep cracks and forked branches.
Painting of flowers: white powder with gamboge (or goose yellow) color, pen tip dipped in thick yellow, petals decorated outward into flowers, flower heart left white. When wet, the petals are marked with white powder (or juice green). Paint the stamens with rouge and the stigma with thick white powder.
