Zhejiang cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines in China. It is rich in varieties and consists of four flavors: hangzhou dishes, Shaoxing, Ningbo and Wenzhou. The dishes are exquisite, delicious, tender, crisp and refreshing.
Local snacks is also an indispensable part of Zhejiang cuisine. The famous ones are Wu Shan shortbread in Hangzhou, osmanthus lotus root starch in West Lake, Pipachuan in Ningbo, Tangtuan, Wufangzhai Zongzi in Jiaxing, Nanhu Ling and Jinhua Ham.
