Itunes, select Preferences in the menu bar. Why is there no ringtone option?
The ringtone of iPhone itself can be set by setting, sound and ringtone. I'm talking about custom ringtones!

How to make a custom ringtone? The specific steps are as follows:

① Click iTunes to connect the iPhone to the computer. Select the music you want to convert to ringtones in Music in your iTunes library. Right-click "Show Introduction" to enter, and then adjust the start time in "Options" (note: the ringtone setting time of iPhone is preferably within 40 seconds), the start time is 0:00, and the stop time is 0:40 or a little (note: of course, the start time can also be customized according to the music melody), so after "OK", right-click to select music. Select "Create ACC Mode" (Note: if there is no "Create ACC Mode" to click on Edit, Preferences, Import Settings, Import Usage, AAC Encoder and OK in the upper left corner of iTunes), a music with the same name as the original song but only 40 seconds will come out under the clicked music. Right-click Show in Windows Explorer and a folder will appear. Click the right mouse button and use the method of Rename (Note: If the extension does not appear, just click My Computer, Tools, Folder Options and View under Advanced Settings, and remove the √ before "Hide the extension of known file types"), then ".m4a" can be changed to ".m4r".

② Next, click "ringtone" in the iTunes library (note: if there is no ringtone option, click "ringtone" in the library name in the upper left corner for editing and preference setting, and click "OK" in the lower right corner), and drag the music with the suffix ".m4r" directly from the folder to the "ringtone" interface (note: there is no customization, and no customization will be seen on the "ringtone" in the mobile phone. Then click "Your iPhone" under the iTunes database device, click "Ringtone" above, check "Synchronize Ringtone" on the left, click "Selected Ringtone" below, check the self-made ringtone you want to synchronize to the iPhone in the "Ringtone" below, and finally click "Synchronize" in the lower right corner. In addition, 40-second music with suffix ".m4a" can be deleted from the iTunes database "Music" to eliminate virtual occupation.

(3) ③iPhone exits the link, click Settings, Sounds and Ringtones on the mobile phone desktop, and find your customized ringtone to choose from.

The most important thing to customize the ringtone is that it should be within 40 seconds; And change the "m4a" format to "m4r" format; It's dragging, not cutting.

If you find that changing the extension in "Display in Windows Data Manager" can't be synchronized with the mobile phone, you need to use the conversion tool to convert the format to "m4r".
