Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo Park brings together the essence of intangible culture from all over the world. In August 2009, the Ministry of Culture officially confirmed that Chengdu will be the permanent venue of the International Intangible Cultural Festival, and the International Intangible Cultural Expo Park will be located in Chengdu.

There are many exhibition halls in the Expo Park, which display the material culture from all over the world. It is a window to understand the world culture, which is rich in intangible culture, such as hand-painted masks, dynamic shadow puppets, endless paper-cuts, wooden New Year pictures, dough sculptures and so on. Cultural and recreational activities are often held in parks.
