Michelin tires have four types and their functions:
1. Energy series: economical, durable, silent, comfortable, suitable for medium and small cars with 14-18 inch wheels. The Energy series is Michelin's flagship economical and durable tire. XM1 is positioned to be economical and durable, while XM2 is positioned to be durable and safe. Compared with the previous two models, MXV8 is more comfortable and quieter, and more suitable for medium and large vehicles.
2. Primacy series: quiet, comfortable, fuel-efficient, safe and controllable, suitable for medium and large cars with 15-19 inch wheels. The Primacy series is Michelin's flagship quiet and comfortable tire, including PrimacyLC Boyue, Primacy3ST Hao Yue and Primacy HP. LC Boyue's positioning is quiet, comfortable, and fuel-efficient; while HP's positioning is quiet, comfortable, and maneuverable. As the latest Primacy3ST launched by Michelin, it is safe, quiet and comfortable.
3. Pilot series: high performance, controllability and safety, suitable for high-performance cars with 14-21 inch wheels. The Pilot series is a representative of Michelin's high-performance tires, with five main patterns: PP2, PS2, PS3, PSS and CUP2. These four tires are positioned for high performance and high controllability; but they also have some shortcomings, such as too much tire noise, poor comfort, a wear index of around 300, and low durability.
4. Latitude SUV series Latitude Tour HP: off-road, comfortable and wear-resistant, suitable for SUV models with 15-22 inch wheels in addition to 21-inch wheels.
