Matters needing attention in making egg tart with air fryer
1. Temperature and time control: Different air fryers have different temperature and time settings. Make sure to adjust the temperature and time to the appropriate level according to your model and recipe guide. Usually, egg tarts need to be baked at a high temperature for a period of time to achieve the effect of crispy skin and completely cooked stuffing.
2. Selection of baking tray: Choose a baking tray suitable for your air fryer. Some air fryers bring their own special egg tart baking tray, and you can also use small silica gel cups or aluminum egg tart molds.
3. Prepare the baking tray: coat the baking tray with a thin layer of cooking oil to prevent the egg tart from sticking to the baking tray. This can be convenient to take out and clean.
4. Dough and stuffing: Use appropriate egg tart dough and stuffing formula. You can use pastry or tart pastry, according to your personal taste. The stuffing can be a mixture of traditional eggs and milk, or you can try innovative stuffing with various flavors.
5. Preheat the fryer: Before baking the egg tart, make sure to preheat the air fryer to a proper temperature. This helps the egg tart to be heated evenly during baking.
6. Baking process: In the baking process, you can open the air fryer at the right time to check the baking situation of the egg tart, and flip or adjust the position as needed to ensure that the egg tart is evenly heated.
