If you want to handle it yourself, you can try the following methods:
1. Ice Beibei's paw with an ice pack for a while.
2. After disinfection with tweezers and other tools, gently push away the place with the most serious redness and swelling, and check whether there are foreign bodies (usually thorns).
3. If you find a foreign body, don't pull it out easily, because it will hurt and Beibei will not be so obedient. You have to choose whether to take Beibei to the pet hospital for anesthesia. If the foreign body is very small, use a few people to hold the dog's neck, pay attention to safety, and quickly pick out the thorn for it.
4. If no foreign body is found, we should take a closer look at the cause of Beibei's paw inflammation. If you don't know, you should take it to the hospital. If it's just common inflammation, then you should go to the drugstore to buy some common anti-inflammatory drugs and wrap it up. Be careful not to give it a lot of activity and don't bite it off.
5. Put some anti-inflammatory oral drugs in Beibei's dog food and drinking water, such as cephalosporin and amoxicillin, not too much, or it may refuse to eat when it smells.
Take a look. I don't think it's a big problem
