Its yield per unit area is higher than that of Ophiopogon japonicus in Sichuan and Hangzhou, with excellent quality and the characteristics of "white, dry, clean, uniform and large". Ophiopogon japonicus is a herb with the same origin of medicine and food, which was first recorded in Shennong Herbal Classic and listed as the top grade.
