One view is that the pronunciation of the word biáng, more accurately, comes from the sound made by a woman beating wet clothes with a wooden stick when washing clothes.
The original production process of biángbiáng noodles is as follows: mix the noodles with salt water, put the dough on a stone or chopping board and beat it with a wooden stick until the dough is smooth and uniform, then roll it into a large dough with a rolling pin, cut it into a wide width, and put it into a boiling water pot. This loud and powerful voice of biang biáng became the origin of biángbiáng's name.
