What books and picture books are there to introduce the customs of old Shanghai and Shili Yangchang?
I read a book called "East Coast Chronicle" before, which is a book about the local customs of Shanghai, and tells a series of love-hate events that happened in Pudong, Shanghai from 1970s to the end of 1980s. Based on the old Pudong, this paper depicts a group of street people and outlines their mixed love and lust, mixed soul and flesh. The author's clean, powerful and fluent writing also makes a footnote for the enthusiasm and ability of "new Shanghainese".
