Mozi is the only philosopher born as a farmer in the history of China. Mozi founded Mohism, which had a great influence in the pre-Qin period, and was called "one of the best" with Confucianism.

Early experience
Mozi was born a commoner. When he was young, he worked as a shepherd boy and studied carpentry. It is said that his skill in making guarding city equipment is better than that of bus class. He claimed to be "my man" and was called "the man in cloth". As a descendant of the declining aristocracy, he naturally received an indispensable cultural education. According to historical records, Mozi worked as a doctor in the Song Dynasty.
Mozi is a scholar with considerable cultural knowledge and close to small producers of workers and peasants. He boasts that "nothing is difficult above the monarch and nothing is difficult under the agriculture", and he is a scholar who sympathizes with the "people of peasants and workers".
