Zhengding, also known as Zhending, belongs to Changshan County, the hometown of Changshan Zhao Zilong. I only stayed in this treasure land for two days and one night, which was not long, but I was really shocked by the number and preciousness of historical sites here all my life.
Generally speaking, the "four pagodas and eight temples on the ninth floor" can summarize most of the historical sites and scenic spots in Zhengding.
The ninth floor: the original city has four gatehouses, four turrets and Yanghe Tower. The gatehouse and turret no longer exist.
Four pagodas: Huata, Lingxiao Pagoda, Chengling Pagoda and Sumeru Pagoda. Eight temples: longxing temple, Guanghui Temple, Linji Temple, Kaiyuan Temple, Tianning Temple, Hongji Temple, Relic Temple and Chongyin Temple. The last three temples have been destroyed.

1: The Mani Palace, the best architectural art in the Song Dynasty, is an isolated example of its kind. It was built in Huang You, Song Renzong (1052) for four years, with a total area of 1400 square meters.

The third of the six wonders: the hidden wheel, located on the left behind the Mani Palace. The Wheel Collection is a rotatable Buddhist scripture bookshelf in Buddhist temples, and this one in longxing temple is the earliest and largest one in China.
The fourth of the six wonders: the tablet of Longzang Temple in Sui Dynasty, one of the three monuments handed down from generation to generation in Sui Dynasty, is a treasure.

If your visit time is limited, I suggest that you must go to longxing temple. If you are not particularly interested in Buddhist culture and ancient buildings, it is not recommended to spend money in the other four temples, and you can also find a good angle to take pictures outside.
