Xi 'an was once the capital of thirteen dynasties, namely: Western Zhou Dynasty, Qin Dynasty, Western Han Dynasty, Xin Mang, Eastern Han Dynasty, Western Jin Dynasty, Former Zhao Dynasty, Former Qin Dynasty, Later Qin Dynasty, Western Wei Dynasty, Northern Zhou Dynasty, Sui Dynasty and Tang Dynasty. Xi 'an, known as Chang 'an and Haojing in ancient times, is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain and is the capital of Shaanxi Province.
Xi is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain, bordering Weihe River in the north and Qinling Mountain in the south. It is a "world historical city" determined by UNESCO 198 1.
It is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization and the Chinese nation and the starting point of the Silk Road. The "rule of Cheng Kang" in the early Western Zhou Dynasty marked the heyday of slavery society in China.
Xianyang and Epang Palace in Qin Dou are mostly located in Xi 'an today, while Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Qin Tombs are located in Xi 'an today (located in Lintong District of Xi 'an). Qin Zongmiao was on the south bank of Weihe River, and Jing Ke stabbed the king of Qin. It happened in Qin Zhangtai Palace (later the front hall of Han Weiyang Palace). The layout of palaces in Qin dynasty has not yet formed the layout of Miyagi, Imperial City and Three Great Halls. Xianyang City, Qin Dynasty spans the Weihe River north and south.
