The weasel, whose Chinese scientific name is weasel (it is called weasel in zoology because it is brown or orange), belongs to the genus Carnivora. They mainly eat rodents, but also other small mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles. There are a pair of smelly glands in the anus of the weasel, which can emit a strange liquid and an aerosol when it is hurt by the enemy, and has the function of defending itself against the enemy. Because weasels have the habit of "stinking" and "stealing chickens", they are considered pests. In fact, the weasel is an expert in rodent control.
Weasels are usually nocturnal, especially in winter, but they also move during the day at other times. If there is no human interference, it will move during the day. According to Carnivora, Volume 8, Fauna of China, female ferrets are more active during the daytime during the feeding period from May to June. From June to July, young ferrets walk out of their nests, led by female ferrets, and move around the clock.
