Kangbao county is a county under the jurisdiction of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. In the northwest of Hebei Province, it borders Taibus Banner, Zhengxiangbai Banner, Huade County and Shangdu County of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the east, north and west, and borders Zhangbei, Guyuan and shangyi county of Hebei Province in the south, 420 kilometers away from Shijiazhuang, the provincial capital.
