Six methods of paper cutting
The six methods of paper-cutting are symmetrical folding, triangular folding, quadrilateral folding, pentagonal folding, hexagonal folding and group cutting.

1, symmetrical folding shear method.

Folding can be symmetrical paper-cut, folding can be one fold, multiple folds or other forms of folding. This paper demonstrates the paper-cutting method of single folding and left-right symmetry, and cuts out a city gate.

2. Triangle folding shear method.

Because the overlapping angles of triangles are limited, it is not easy for beginners to master them. You can cut a template with a 60-degree angle from a piece of cardboard (carefully measure it with a protractor before cutting), align the corner tip of such a triangular template with the center point of the overlapping edge to be cut, and then fold it twice according to the edge of the template to form a triangular folding pattern.

3. Quadrilateral folding shear method.

Fold it in half twice, then fold it diagonally, draw half the pattern and cut it out. But when designing, we must pay attention to the connection points on the left and right sides, otherwise it will be cut into pieces.

4. Pentagon folding and shearing method.

Fold the square paper in half, and then fold it in half according to the midpoint of the triangle bottom. Cut it into pentagons or five-pointed stars along the lines shown in the figure.

5. Hexagon folding shear method.

Fold the square in half, and then cut it according to the midpoint of the bottom and the dotted line. Note that line A and line B in the diagram should be equal.

6. cut flowers.

A single pattern (1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/8) of the flower cluster is designed by folding methods such as quadrilateral, pentagon and hexagon, and then it is cut and unfolded to form a symmetrical flower cluster.
