Hamsters widely inhabit grasslands, farmland, deserts, bushes in foothills and valleys, farmland gardens and orchards, and occasionally enter houses. Hamsters can be found at an altitude of 3600 meters.
Appearance characteristics of hamster
The most common coat color of hamster is white from cheek to abdomen and brown on the back, but there are also spots formed by dark brown, and the coat color is mostly gray, and then a variety of breeds such as gold, mottled and even long hair are cultivated.
All kinds of hamsters look similar, but their body shape and coat color are slightly different, and their personalities are similar. Among them, Roborowski hamster is the smallest of Dover hamsters. It is fast and timid, and the color of its back will change from black to brown during the growing period.
