The first stage is mainly a liquid diet. Three or four days after operation, there was exhaust and gastric tube was pulled out, which indicated that gastrointestinal function began to recover. At this time, you can eat a small amount of liquid food, such as rice soup and chicken soup. Start with 30~50ml per meal and gradually increase it to 100~200ml. Eat 5~6 meals a day for 3~4 days.

The second stage is mainly semi-liquid diet. You can eat milk, gruel and rotten noodles at first, and then add varieties, such as lean porridge, egg soup, wonton and jiaozi. In another 2-3 weeks, you can add vegetables (starting with fruit puree), fruits (starting with fruit puree), minced meat and so on. The food can't be too good. Try not to eat food with strong irritation or too much residue. At this stage, you can eat 4~5 meals a day, and the amount of food per meal is from less to more, so you can basically feel full. If you adapt well, you can transfer to the third phase after two months.

The third stage is dominated by ordinary diet. Basically the same diet as ordinary people. Diet should have a sense of protection, not carelessness. For example, choose nutritious and digestible foods to reduce the burden on the stomach; Don't eat hard, cold, hot and irritating food, don't overeat, quit smoking and drinking. Don't eat too little if you don't feel sick after eating. On the contrary, you should eat as much as possible to gradually increase the volume of your stomach. Generally, three months after operation, the diet structure can be restored to the same as before operation.
