Lotus milk: it is a picture in which a full breast and a lotus are superimposed by netizens with PS software, causing discomfort to visitors. Although the pictures of lotus milk are synthetic, there is a related disease in medicine, dermatomyiasis, but it is very rare. It mainly spreads in some hot and humid areas in Africa.

Etiology of lotus seed milk:

Myiasis refers to the disease caused by maggots, the larvae of flies, parasitic on human or animals. It is a general term for diseases caused by larvae of parasitic flies of Diptera of Insecta attacking domestic animals. The main hazards are gastromyiasis, dermatomyiasis and rhinomyiasis. Pastoral areas are common. According to the data, the shield fly, also known as the anthropophagous maggot, can cause dermatomyiasis. Larvae of anthropophagous flies, which are widely distributed in Africa, will form furuncle-like masses after drilling into human skin. However, it is different from the common dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and cowhide fly because it does not migrate, while dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and cowhide fly move under the skin, and sometimes transfer to deep tissues and organs such as chest cavity, abdominal cavity, eyes and brain. Such as horse stomach fly (which can cause horse stomach maggot disease); Sheep mad fly (causing sheep nose maggot disease); Larvae of cowhide fly, cowhide fly (causing cowhide maggot disease) and helicoptera (parasitic in wounds of animals and people) are obligate parasites. Its larvae cannot survive or continue to grow and develop without the host. Most fly maggots live freely, but some kinds of fly maggots may enter animals and humans once they have the opportunity, which is called facultative parasitism. In addition to parasitic maggots on large animals, there are also myiasis caused by flies parasitic in insects, such as silkworm maggots. Adults lay eggs on the surface of silkworms. After hatching, maggots enter the body cavity through the body wall of silkworms, feed on the fat of silkworms, and secrete hormones to control the behavior and growth of silkworms. After the host cocoons, the wall of the host body is drilled out, and the host dies, and the fly maggots pupate and emerge in the cocoon. Silkworm maggot disease is a disease that seriously harms silk culture. When an epidemic breaks out, it will cause serious losses to silkworm farmers.

Symptoms of Lotus Milk:

(1) Creeping rash When the fly maggots pass through the skin and migrate in the subcutaneous tissue, red edema bulges appear on the skin, and the larvae are hidden in the normal skin at the front of the blister.

(2) At the initial stage of furuncle type, nodules or lumps with different sizes and different shades appear on the skin, accompanied by pain and tenderness, and maggots live in the nodules. When the larvae are about to drill out of the skin, the lumps gradually increase, local edema intensifies, the pores on the skin expand, and there is a prick-like pain and worm peristalsis. After a few hours, soybean blisters appear on the surface of the lumps or nodules, and the blister wall is thin and tense. If the blister wall is punctured, it can be used. Inflammation also subsided, leaving a perforated hole in the center to heal. If the parasitic part of the fly maggot is deep, it will take several months for the nodule to break, which is rare. If the nodule does not break, the fly maggot can sneak several centimeters under the skin and reappear with a new nodule or lump, and a small papule appears on the surface of the lump, forming a false abscess, which is called variant dermatomyiasis. Furuncle-type dermatomyiasis mostly occurs in the loose part of the skin.
